Born on August 8, 1998, in Victorville, California, Garcia began his amateur boxing career at the age of 7, amassing an impressive record of 215 wins and 15 losses (215-15-0). Transitioning to the professional scene at 17, he made a remarkable debut by knocking out Edgar Meza in the very 1st round.
Throughout his career, Garcia has achieved multiple milestones, including winning the vacant WBC interim lightweight championship by defeating Luke Campbell via 7th-round TKO on January 2, 2021. However, he was later stripped of the title due to his inactivity from boxing due to mental health concerns.`

9:31 – go um I wanted to move out of Oakland uh
9:34 – to give my boys um a better start than
9:37 – me `cuz I wanted to be really their big
9:39 – homie uh the big homie that I didn’t
9:41 – have because my big homie gave me um
9:43 – drugs and guns and [ __ ] like that you
9:46 – know um and and I knew that I was able
9:49 – to do more but he didn’t see that in me
9:51 – you know what I mean so I wanted to make
9:53 – sure that when I had the opportunity to
9:55 – pick one I wanted to pick mine to be my
9:58 – sons you know you know what I’m saying
10:00 – and um and then and then get behind
10:02 – whatever that’s in them you know what
10:04 – I’m saying whatever that they passionate

10:07 – big homies they picked some guys I just
10:10 – wasn’t one of the ones they picked so I

10:20 – daughter cuz they need you for real for
