- But, this time, he reverses his discourse
- He speaks of a man who boasts of gifts never given
- Linguistically, he is precise
- He does not say the man did not receive the gift
- He does not say the man misappropriated the gift
- He says the gifts were never given in the first place
- Yet, the man is abroad boasting of those same gifts
