In the last couple of weeks, I have watched a couple of YouTube videos that speaks to who we are as a body in Christ.

My Quick Take

Background

There is a lot to learn from these videos.

The first one I watched is the conversation between Ruslan and Marcus Rogers ( Link ).

The second one is where Marcus Rodgers called out Luke worm Christians ( Link ).

Ruslan K.D.

Investment

To me Ruslan K.D. felt he had invested quite a bit into his and Marcus Rogers’ relationship.

And, that before Marcus Rodgers goes out and makes a video, call me in private and give me an opportunity to speak out of my heart.

So to speak, let me earn back some of what I put in; some of what I invested.

 

Marcus Rodgers

Family Love

Marcus Rogers feels I love God.

But, ya __ don’t claim me.

I don’t feel no brotherly love.

When I say or do something wrong, ya __ quick to jump on it.

Point it out in public.

 

Affiliation

Not feeling the love, to me, Marcus lumps everyone together.

Not feeling no love within one’s community, we carry a burden both at home and outside.

Everything is a fire fight.

We see a culture that is so quick to cancel us.

We point out others that were/are cancelled.

The tribulations of the 45s of the world.

 

Them

In some of his videos Marcus Rodgers returns to a them versus us view of the world.

To a lot of us the world is increasing looking like that.
