     • He ran me through the truth
   • Athletic Director
     • He explained to me he is only an Athletic Director ( AD )
     • He is only responsible for student athletes
     • and not the entire student body
     • And, definitely not the fans in the stand
3. Mind Shift
   • That kind of put my mind in an entirely different perspective
   • We as athletes do have access
   • We do have mandatory training in things like this
   • We get training in sexual assault, racism
   • Things other students do not always get full training on
   • And, just say honestly I am going to stay out of it

5. Reaction
   • As a young black woman in America, I do not have the privilege of reacting angrily
   • As that will only lend itself to all the stereotypes of an angry black woman
   • I felt like responding to it the way I did, will help the greater purpose
   • That purpose being awareness
   • Everyone from both sides should always and only be working together
   • We should not be trying to create two sides
6. Hope
   • My hope is that other institutions should do a better job of putting in the funds to educate the general student body
