2 Corinthians 11:30:- “If I must need glory, I will glory of the things which concern my weakness”

Woke up this morning to a youtube suggested video.

Don’t blame me.

Blame Google.

Or Youtube.

2nd Corinthians 11:30 – Paul’s Suffering and Service

  1. 25 Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day have I been in the deep;
    26 in journeyings often, in perils of rivers, in perils of robbers, in perils from my countrymen, in perils from the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;
    27 in labor and travail, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.
    28  besides those things that are without, there is that which presseth upon me daily, anxiety for all the churches.
    29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is caused to stumble, and I burn not?
    30 If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things that concern my weakness.
    31 The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, he who is blessed for evermore knoweth that I lie not.
    32 In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king guarded the city of the Damascenes in order to take me:
    33 and through a window was I let down in a basket by the wall, and escaped his hands.

2nd Corinthians 11:21 – Paul’s Suffering and Service

Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

  1. 16 I repeat: No one should consider me a fool. But if you do, at least accept me as a fool, so I too may boast a little.
    17 What I say in this matter of boasting, I don’t speak as the Lord would, but foolishly.
    18 Since many boast in an unspiritual way, I will also boast.
    19 For you, being so wise, gladly put up with fools!
    20 In fact, you put up with it if someone enslaves you, if someone devours you, if someone captures you, if someone dominates you, or if someone hits you in the face.
    21 I say this to our shame: We have been weak.

Proverbs 25:27 – More Proverbs of Solomon

  1. 26 Like a muddied spring or a polluted well is a righteous man who gives way to the wicked.
    27 It is not good to eat too much honey or to search out one’s own glory.
    28 Like a city whose walls are broken down is a man who does not control his temper.…

Ephesians 6:13 – The Armor of God

  1. 13 Therefore take up the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground and having done everything, to stand.
    14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness arrayed,…

Scripture Examination

2nd Corinthians 11:30 – Paul’s Suffering and Service

Scripture 2nd Corinthians 11:30 reads:-

If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things that concern my weakness.

I never knew the Holy Scripture speaks ebonics.

At least the American Standard Version ( ASV ) does.

Now, I must read it more.
