Scriptural Basis

There are at least two specific areas of the bible where the Gog and Magog wars are spoken of.

The two areas are:-

1. Prophet Ezekiel ( Ezekiel )

2. John the Revelator ( Revelation )

None of the mainline spiritual leaders are saying that conditions as they currently see them are indicative of the Gog and Magog War.

Christianity

Catholic Church

Pope Francis

The Catholic Church’s head, Pope Francis, is not saying so.

In fact, he has reached out to the leaders of both Russia and Ukraine.

He has given his opinions and offered diplomatic channels.

 

Protestant Church

Mainline Protestant denominations remain sanguine and they are being very careful to not draw a quick parallel.

 

World Leaders

United States

Joe Biden

The current POTUS, Joe Biden, has been very deliberative, as well.

The 79-years old man understands the weight of responsibility.

Again, the diplomatic channel is fully open, fluid, and operational between Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Nato, and United States.

 

Israel

Naftali Bennett

The 49-year-old prime minister of Israel has worked tirelessly to help facilitate negotiations between the two states.

Crediting Israel; it has been one of the few countries that enjoy diplomatic ties between the warring states.

Isreal is very thankful for Putin’s and Russia’s help with the Syrian Civil War.

Again, thankfully, that strife was relatively contained and did not spill over unto neighboring middle eastern nations.
