SSMS – Options – Environment – Fonts and Colors

Usually to customize font and font sizes, one will search out the Options menu choice.

In SSMS, we do the following:-

  1. Access the Menu Bar
  2. From the menu bar, select Tools and Options
  3. The Options window appears
    • Within the Options window
    • Navigation Window:- Fonts and Colors
    • Settings:- Text Editor
    • Font:-
    • Size:- 10
    • Display Item
      • Plain Text

Played around with font sizes for months now.

But, no help.

SSMS – Window – Zoom

Here goes the before and after images

Unfortunately, in our case, the issue was not the font sizes, at all.

It ended up being a little zoom option.

Between the editor and results pane, there is an option to scale the text.

Summary

This one was hard and difficult.

Trying to find text within SSMS brought about a bit of anxiety.

Simply couldn’t see nor make out was I was typing.
