BLACK MEN NEED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHAT WE DID TO BLACK WOMEN

I’m the type of man that believes in taking responsibility for anything that happens in my life. Whether it be good or bad, I always think it’s better to own it and move forward. This way of thinking has done alot of good for me for two reasons. The first reason is, I never feel like a victim and the second reason is, people that know me see me as a man of integrity. This makes people relaxed enough to hear me out if we ever have a difference of opinion. This is a powerful tool when it’s time to work out a problem. That is exactly why I’ve been speaking heavily on the shortcomings of black men in America. We are constantly at odds with black women over things that have been happening in the black community for decades and things are steadily getting worse. I believe that in order to be true leaders and get a better understanding of each other’s wants and needs, black men need to take responsibility for what we did to black women. It’s the only way that we can get to common ground and begin to hear each other out. if we want black women to listen to us, we have to be willing to listen to them.

THIS IS WHY BLACK WOMEN HAVE TO BE THE MAN OF THE HOUSE

This video shows a great example of why a lot of black women end up having to take on the role of the “the man of the house”. She made the mistake of overlooking some major red flags and now she’s going to pay for it… Literally!!! Her boyfriend and father of her youngest daughter doesn’t want to get a job, he talks down to her, and he even blames her for him not being motivated to take care of his responsibilities. To say the least this guy has a lot of growing up to do. He’s acting like a real bum! This woman will most likely end up being a single mother of two and have to take care of the kids, herself, and the household on her own. This is a situation that occurs far too often in the black community. What makes it even worse is the fact that alot of women stay with this type of dude for far too long. They tend to think that one day they’ll change him. I’m sorry to say that most of the time that never happens.
