   • To access Contact List, please use either of the options listed below

   • Review the contact list
   • Search for the contact
   • Manage the contact
     • Ensure you have entered an email for the contact
     • Ensure that you have entered a phone number

Manage the contact

In our case, we did not have a phone number for Mum.

Added the phone number.

Conclusion

Even upon adding the phone number, no help.

 

Technical Summary

The verbiage:-

No Google Account Found

Email or Phone Number Must be Linked to A Google Account

… means exactly as it reads.

The intended recipient needs an actual Google Account.

It is not enough to add them as a Contact within Google Email ( Gmail ).

 

Summary

Sometimes late last year or so, Google Photos no longer allows you to share an album solely based on the other person having an email address.

The recipient must have an active Google account/present.

They must be part of Google’s EcoSystem.
