Identifying Bible Verses Missing in Various Translations

Background

Talking to my brother about a query he wanted help on.

KJV

Unfortunately, I hijacked the conversation and thought it might be saner to write a query that identifies verses that are in KJV but missing in other versions.

Outline

In the sample code below, we compare KJV (Kings James Version ) against DBY ( Darby ).

Explanation

  1. It appears that NIV, KJV, and HCSB have a single verse 3rd John 1:14
  2. Whereas ESV and NASB separate the text out into two verses 3rd John 1:14 and 3rd John 1:15
