There are various ways to divide the gifts.

- Speaking is the character of their operation

What is the gift of Prophecy?
It is to pass along the heart of God on a matter.

I wish that all of you could speak in tongues, but I would rather have you prophesy. He who prophesies is greater than one who speaks in tongues, unless he interprets, so that the church may be edified.

The choice of words is important here.
The prophetic calling translates to one who edifies, encourages, and comfort.
- To edify means to instruct or improve ( someone ) morally or intellectually
Beloved, how are you using the gifts of prophecy.
To puff up self.
Or to build up the body of Christ.
And, if you are not a believer in Christ that does not opt you out.
Being a spiritual being you still likely have a prophetic calling.
