Prophetic Calling

Mean Well

There are a few people calling themselves prophets these days.

Some of them I play along, knowing they mean well.

They are trying to encourage people.

Offer listening ears.

Hoping maybe corporate prayers might push some attendees and callers over.

Watchful

Others, I am a bit more watchful.

Watchful because:-

1. Proximity
   • They claim proximity to God that does not seem to be accurate
   • Or needs closer examination
2. Uniqueness
   • The area they are targeting is not unique
   • Others have covered the same topic or area
   • And, to me, they are being led by others

 

Stay Away From

Yet, others I listen to and stay far away from.

I do not share it at all.

Why you ask?

1. Misused
   • Here you have two people
     • One person is using someone else’s well-meaningness to advance a purpose
     • Using that person’s innocence to advance his purpose, whereas
       • The other person might not be fully aware that the inclination and destination is somewhere else altogether
       • The other person might not fully know how much hurt can be done
2. Evenly
   • I heard one commentator apologize for something the other day
   • He laid out how to remediate one wrong
   • But, offered, no such tooling for what could be considered a bigger hurt
3. Exaggerated Hurt
   • Others resort to hyperbole to exaggerate hurts
   • We have to be careful with exaggerated hurt as things are so tight in our current season
4. Truth Mixed with Error
   • In some cases, there is an awful lot of truth, but a bit of error
   • That tiny error is enough to drive a multiplying change

     • …And this beast exercised all the authority of the first beast and caused the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose mortal wound had been healed. And the second beast performed great signs to cause even fire from heaven to come down to earth in the presence of the people.
     • Because of the signs it was given to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived those who dwell on the earth, telling them to make an image to the beast that had been wounded by the sword and yet had lived.…

     • And he threw him into the Abyss, shut it, and sealed it over him, so that he could not deceive the nations until the thousand years were complete.
     • After that, he must be released for a brief period of time.

Summary

Scriptural

Please revert to Revelation 20:3.

Satan is not yet bound.

And, he is yet deceiving.

Life

Please stand with people.

When you say something to them, when you share with them, think it over and ponder it.

Take the responsibility to make sure the medicine will not have a greater side and sad effect.

Please don’t carelessly release them.

Also, retrospectively, consider what if they were to apply the same remedy to you or to yours.

If you know, you will not be able to stay in their life, then be guarded as to what you will share and have them incorporate.
