In a season of take, it is easy to be overwhelmed.
On our Take 2, we will talk on Leadership.
- Day 01 – Overwhelmed
- Sober & Solemn
- Sincere & Straight Forward
- Look for small wins and encourage others to do likewise
Sober and Solemn
This are sober times and so please be solemn.
Your people want you to be sincere and straight forward.
And, so please be both.
People’s time is precious. They know it. And, you know it even more.
You protect them from others; please protect them from yourself and team members, as well.
Look for small wins and encourage others to do likewise
When things are good and one gets daily affirmations from one’s job, it is easy to take all the little daily wins and affirmation for granted.
On the other hand, while working from home, one does not get to enjoy and benefit from team camaraderie.
In a bid for those gains, one will likely take more chances.
Please pay attention and carefully check & double-check your assumptions.
Please know when people are just looking and searching for small wins.
Please do not bat them too harshly.
Please pay down your debt.
If you still have a job, you likely want to be paid.
There are bills and obligations that you will like to fulfill with any income that comes your way.
Your creditors feel the same.
Your creditor’s balance book is looking bad right about now.
It will look even worse as the number of defaulters rises.
To keep them off bankruptcy and being taken over by bigger entities please pay sooner than later.
They worked hard to get and keep your business.
If you do not pay them now, someone else will take the credit for bringing your loan current.
We lost a lot of good banks and businesses the last go around; we likely will this time, as well.
Life is hard and tough.
The good thing about leadership is your problems get magnified.
Your pettiness can not be easily overlooked.
Your smallness stands out.
Clean them up quickly and stop making them altogether.
I have listened to my fair share of preachers.
A preacher is an individual contributor.
A pastor is responsible for his people and office.
A preacher can make any kind of wild claims.
He can make wild claims about himself and his gifts.
A pastor can not do so as he is responsible for people, he has to shoulder them, and deliver on his wild claims.
Spend Time With God
Family, please continue to spend time with God.
Take to his ways.
Rest for the Weary ( Matthew 11:28-30 )
…Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”…
