One has either purchased a license for Microsoft SQL Server v2019 or one wants a free evaluation copy.

The steps to avail an evaluation copy is documented below.

Please download an evaluation media of SQL Serve 2019 by accessing this webpage.

Install Steps

Please run setup.exe

    • The initial screen is the Welcome Screen
    • For a Fresh Install
      • Please access the Installation Tab
      • Please choose “New SQL Server stand-alone installation or add features to an existing installation

    • Please choose whether you want to download updates to the installation media
    • If so, please ensure you have access to the Internet
