Background
Christianity has taken on greater promises.
It has more of a whole :-
- Prosperity Gospel
- Miraculous
- Healing Ministry
- Statehood
- Us versus Them
Sinner
In this greater packaging the voluntary participation of the individual, the sinner, can be missed, can be lost.
The thought that each of us is a sinner needing cleansing, needing healing, can be lost.
Once that sinner identity is lost, we become part of a mascot, that can be led down the stream with other captives; the material captive, the statehood captive, the culture captive.
God
To me God sees it a bit different.

- And the LORD had regard for Abel and his offering
- but for Cain and his offering he had no regard.
- So Cain was very angry, and his face fell.
- The LORD said to Cain, “Why are you angry, and why has your face fallen?
- If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is contrary to you, but you must rule over it.

- The angel of the Lord asked him, “Why have you beaten your donkey these three times? I have come here to oppose you because your path is a reckless one before me.
- The donkey saw me and turned away from me these three times. If it had not turned away, I would certainly have killed you by now, but I would have spared it.”
- Balaam said to the angel of the Lord, “I have sinned. I did not realize you were standing in the road to oppose me. Now if you are displeased, I will go back.”
- The angel of the Lord said to Balaam, “Go with the men, but speak only what I tell you.” So Balaam went with Balak’s officials.

Summary
Beloved, once you take out expository teaching, and have topical teaching, the modern day Bible Teacher can lead you down any path, part, he or she is swindled down.
It does not reveal God’s own word, but one that serves his or her own true master.
