And Psalm 132:13 has told me what God is making her to be; “For the LORD has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His habitation.
“This is My resting place forever; Here I will dwell, for I have desired it.”
So anytime I am having a chat with God there is a change in nomenclature, in the presence of God physical things holds no significance.
God does not recognize Chocolate and Choco, when I am lifting her up to God I need to call her by who God sees her to be.
The language changes from “God bless Chocolate” to “God bless Zion“.
Whenever I mention Zion God understands who I am talking about, it is a name exclusive to God and I alone.
What do you call your partner?
Are you still seeing each other as who you are or as what you’re becoming?
I want to encourage you to learn this prayer pattern, it is so important guys. Look at who God is moulding your partner to be and inquire of the Lord for a name that clearly defines that purpose and call start calling your partner by it. Call her Esther if that is what you see in her. Call him Canaan if that is what you find in him.
And let it be a name only you and God understands.
Pick a name now! whether you are already married or dating with a marriage goal. Pick a name even if you are single right now, and call it into your future spouse until they show up. Mushy pet names are cute, but you need a name that speaks prophecies.
