findstr – type / findstr/find

syntax
findstr /R "." [filename] | find /c /v ""

findstr /R "." products.txt | find /c /v ""

findstr – type / findstr/find

syntax
type [filename] | findstr /r /n "^"| find /c ":"
sample
type products.txt | findstr /r /n "^"| find /c ":"
