Using “TrendNet – USB to 10/100Mbps Adapter – TU-ET100C” on Windows 7

Background

When building a new computer, I usually like to have a USB Network Adapter.

This offsets the need to have the OS immediately recognize the in-built Network Adapters.

Here is the particulars of the Network Adapter that I have:

  1. Vendor :- TRENDnet
  2. Product :- USB to 10/100Mbps Adapter

Make sense as XP is mostly 32-bit.

But, stubbornly went with the 32-bit version.  As to the Version, whether Version 1 or 3, went with the later version.

  1. Hi Daniel! Thanks for the article. I looked into the websites mentioned in the article, but looks like they don’t have it anymore. I know your article is almost an year old. If you still have the driver, can you please share me? Thanks in advance!
