Occasionally one runs into little configuration hassles when trying to set up “Database Mirroring” between two MS SQL Server Instances.
There are quite a few configuration choices and those choices\settings have to match across our Database Mirroring Topology.
So here we go, trying to match the “Database Mirroring” Endpoint Settings:
Please note changes might have to be made on each node (Principal, Partner, and Witness if you happen to be using one).

Reminds me of the conversation between UK’s John Calipari and Anthony Davis.
During the NCAA Sweet 16 Men’s B-Ball game between UK and Baylor, UK’s Anthony Davis banged his knee against Baylor’s Perry Jones. And, Anthony Davis limped off to the UK Bench. Obviously, Davis was at much pain; but here is what Coach Calipari said to him:
“No, the guys told me [the collision] was knee-to-knee. And I said ‘Get up mama’s boy, you’re fine. Come on, let’s go,’” John Calipari told CBS after the game.
