Resolution #1:

  1. Download SQLServer2005_XMO.msi (Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Management Objects Collection) from “Feature Pack for Microsoft SQL Server 2005 – April 2006” (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=df0ba5aa-b4bd-4705-aa0a-b477ba72a9cb&displaylang=en)
  2. As the download is processor specific (x32, x64, ia64), be sure to download all of the pieces or one specific to your immediate need
  3. Install SQLServer2005_XMO.msi (Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Management Objects Collection).
